Our Refund Policy

This refund policy discloses the refund and cancellation practices for www.appearancehound.com and applies solely to services provided through this website.

Any appearance request may be cancelled before it is accepted by an appearance attorney. This can be done by using the cancel feature on the 'My Appearances' page. Your credit card will not be charged unless the appearance request is accepted by an appearance attorney.

If the appearance has already been accepted by an appearance attorney, then you may still cancel the request up to 4 hours in advance of the hearing date. If the request is cancelled after having already been accepted by an appearance attorney, then a full refund will be given.

If the cancellation request is not given in advance of at least 4 hours from the hearing date, then no cancellations will be allowed and no refunds will be given.

If your client is ordered to be present at the hearing and fails to appear in a timely manner, you are not entitled to a refund. If the court prevents the Appearance Attorney from making an appearance on your case, you will not be entitled to a refund. Further, if your appearance request is erroneous or does not contain enough information for the appearance attorney to successfully complete the appearance, then you will not be entitled to a refund.
